Companion Features

Companion is LearnKit’s AI workspace for note-aware help, critique, editing, and draft generation.

What Companion can do

• Ask answers questions about the current note and any extra context you allow.
• Review critiques the current note and helps you improve clarity, structure, and study value.
• Edit proposes targeted improvements to your markdown content and draft flashcards.
• Generate drafts flashcards you can inspect and insert into the note.
• The same AI area also powers related tools like Tests and Coach.

Where you open it

You can use Companion in two places:

• The note button that appears in markdown workspaces when Companion is enabled.
• The command palette action that opens the sidebar companion widget.

Both entry points open the same content-aware chat, where you can switch between Ask, Review, Edit, and Generate.
