Reminders
Reminders help you come back to study while Obsidian stays open.
Use them when you want a prompt, not a hard interruption.
For enforced review rounds, use Gatekeeper.
Launch Reminders
Section titled “Launch Reminders”Launch reminders appear once after Obsidian starts.

| Enable reminders on launch | Show one reminder after startup |
| Launch delay | Wait a chosen number of seconds before showing it |
Routine Reminders
Section titled “Routine Reminders”Routine reminders repeat while Obsidian remains open.

| Enable routine reminders | Turn recurring reminders on or off |
| Reminder frequency | Set the time between reminders in minutes |
How Reminders Behave
Section titled “How Reminders Behave”- Reminders normally appear only when due flashcards exist.
- Clicking a reminder can open a target LearnKit view, depending on your action setting.
- Reminders are best for keeping study visible without blocking your workflow.
