What You Will Do
Section titled “What You Will Do”In one short cycle, you will:
- choose one note
- add a few flashcards
- Sync your database
- start a study session
- grade a few flashcards
Step 1: Pick One Note
Section titled “Step 1: Pick One Note”Choose one note you already understand well enough to test the workflow.
Do not start by migrating your whole vault.
Step 2: Add 3 To 5 Flashcards
Section titled “Step 2: Add 3 To 5 Flashcards”Use either:
Keep the first batch small. You are checking that the system works end to end, and seeing how it works for you.
Step 3: Sync Your Database
Section titled “Step 3: Sync Your Database”Run Syncing so LearnKit reads the note and creates the flashcards.
If nothing appears later, this is the first thing to check.
Step 4: Start A Study Session
Section titled “Step 4: Start A Study Session”Open Study Sessions and start a session from the relevant scope.
If you only made flashcards in one note, keep the scope narrow so you can verify the result easily.
Step 5: Grade Your Cards
Section titled “Step 5: Grade Your Cards”Reveal the answer, then grade honestly.
If you are unsure how to grade, read Grading after this first session, not before it.
What Success Looks Like
Section titled “What Success Looks Like”Your first session is successful if:
- your flashcards appear
- you can reveal and grade them
- LearnKit records progress without errors
That is enough to prove your setup works.
